Jones Lang LaSalle. Better stories, better told.

With one of the world’s leading global Facilities Management (FM) contracts, JLL and HSBC have formed a very successful partnership. But while HSBC recognises the FM transformation has been successful, that’s where the conversation stops, with FM. Our challenge – to help JLL begin to reframe their stories of success and solution so that those beyond FM listen. To dial up the engagement and connection with C-suite executives to ensure their stories are heard and shared.

Walk a mile in their shoes

To aid the broader communication of the JLL offer, we developed a powerful story-telling methodology and programme of workshops designed to onboard stakeholders across the organisation and territories. Asking the JLL Senior leadership teams to “step into their client’s shoes” we looked at the world from their client’s perspective, not their own. Not as easy as it sounds.

By connecting the dots, linking the client’s world and needs to their own, the FM stories became interesting, different and relevant to the C-suite. An ability to demonstrate alignment with the wider business agenda and showcase real value-add and proactivity increased the strategic significance to the business, beyond FM and a promise of greater integration and collaboration going forward. A win-win.
